Day 30: As We Also Have Forgiven Our Debtors

Daily Devotional:

The forgiveness we receive is meant to be extended to others creating a ripple effect of grace in our relationships and in the world around us. In this line of the Lord’s prayer, we become a vessel for grace and forgiveness to extend to others.

Matthew 6.9 “This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we also have forgiven our debtors…’”

Colossians 3.13 "Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you."

Micah 7.18-19 "Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy. You will again have compassion on us; you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea."

Luke 23.24 Jesus said, 'Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.'

Father God, thank You for forgiving my sins. I want to forgive others like You have forgiven me. I chose today to forgive (fill in names here) for (fill in details here). I receive Your grace and extend Your grace to them today.
