Prayer:

Here are two prayers for today. One is devotional and one is for those in our city that do not know Jesus. Praying for the lost is one of the ways we prepare for harvest.

Lord, I stand in awe of You today! Hallowed be Your Name! You are awesome and majestic in splendor and I adore You Lord!

Today we are praying Matthew 5.14-16 over those that don’t know Jesus in our city. Feel free to insert specific names of people in the prayer.

Lord thank You that You have made Your church the light of the world and a city set on a hill. I pray today that Your light would shine through Your people today, through the way we love, the way we live and the good work that we do.

And I am praying that Your light would shine forth through our lives in such a way that the lost of our city (Insert specific names here) would experience You through the good works of Your people and would glorify You because of them!

Listen & Obey:

Spend two minutes in silent, listening prayer. Write down what you sense the Holy Spirit speaking to you. Here are some prompts to assist you:

  • Lord, what do You want to speak to me from these passages of Scripture as I start my day?

  • How do You want me to apply this truth today?

  • Who do I need to share this with today?
